Dr. Ibrahim Kobeissi born in Lebanon in 1943 holds a master in political science at the Lebanese University and also holds a Ph.D. in political science at the reputable University of Grenoble, a degree earned in 1972.
Dr. Ibrahim’s work experience is highly concentrated in the educational sector, as he acted in the capacity of Professor in the university of Algeria and subsequently at the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences at the Lebanese university in Beirut where his focus ranged through a variety of subject matter, such as constitutional law and civil liberties. Dr. Ibrahim, later, geared his career towards the university management and governance holding various faculty positions at the Lebanese University culminating with high-ranking positions such as the Dean of the Faculty of law residing from 1993 to 2001 and then the Rector of the Lebanese university from 2001 till 2006.
Dr. Ibrahim is also an author with book titles such the “Eisenhower project” among few others.
